Côtes du Rhône blanc Luminaris 2024

Côtes du Rhône | Blanc | 2024

Domaine La Luminaille, led by the talented Julie Paolucci, produces wines grown on the magnificent hillsides of Rasteau. The Luminaris cuvée, named after the vineyard’s historic district, stands out for its artisanal and organic production. The blend of 90% Clairette and 10% Bourboulenc, with whole-cluster pressing and low-temperature vinification, gives this wine an elegance typical of its clay-limestone terroir.

Our Review of the Cuvée

Luminaris offers an enticing sensory experience. Visually, its pale gold color is captivating. On the nose, a delicate symphony of warm apples, lemon, and subtle fermented notes awakens the senses. On the palate, it unfolds with roundness and fullness, revealing a luscious texture and vibrant fruit. The lively finish leaves a sensation of chalky, lemony astringency, enhanced by a noble bitterness reminiscent of pomelo peel and a hint of cinchona, lingering pleasantly on the palate.
