Le Roc Blanc 2024

Vin de France | Blanc | 2024

Vinified directly in barrels after careful settling, this blend of grape varieties benefits from controlled-temperature fermentation to preserve and develop its aromatic richness. Aging in small oak barrels for 7 to 11 months allows for a refined evolution, resulting in a silky texture and a complex aromatic profile. Regular bâtonnage (lees stirring) provides appreciable density and beautiful harmony to the overall wine.

Our Review of the Cuvée

Visually, the golden hue of this wine immediately captivates. The nose presents an explosion of aromas, with floral and fruity notes harmoniously intertwined. On the palate, a beautiful vibrancy is perceived, where ripe fruit flavors perfectly align with a subtle touch of vanilla and toasted bread, a result of barrel aging. The texture is silky, almost creamy, unfolding into a persistent and elegant finish. A wine that will undoubtedly appeal to connoisseurs of refined white wines.

Domaine Le Roc

Domaine Le Roc

Loire | France

In Fronton, Domaine Le Roc has for many years been dedicated to offering a precise and masterful interpretation of Négrette, the emblematic grape variety of the appellation. The vineyard is situated on predominantly gravelly soils, which promote more ethereal expressions and a more pronounced palate dynamic.

Négrette is cultivated to achieve a vibrant and fresh profile, featuring floral notes and an unusual tension for the region. Winemaking prioritizes precision and measured extractions to avoid any heaviness. The aging processes remain understated, designed to complement the wine without masking its inherent character.

The estate also produces more exclusive white wines, distinguished by their balance and clarity. All the cuvées exhibit a clear and consistent signature, offering a distinct and recognizable interpretation of Fronton, mindful of freshness and terroir expression.
