Roc des Anges

Unic 2023

Côtes Catalanes | Rouge | 2023

The 2022 Unic Rouge from Roc des Anges, made from 100% Grenache grown on crumbly, iron-rich schist soils, stands out for its elegance and finesse. The grapes, destemmed but not crushed, ferment with native yeasts before aging for 8 months in concrete tanks, preserving the wine’s delicate character. Subtle and charming, it combines tension and freshness with refined nuances. A rare expression of Grenache that captivates with its balance and delicacy. Ideal for pairing with Mediterranean dishes or for moments of thoughtful tasting.

Roc des Anges

Roussillon | France

The first thing you notice is the Roussillon’s distinctive light: it is reflected in the wines of Roc des Anges with astonishing clarity. Marjorie Gallet moves forward in small steps, preferring the silence of the schist to any demonstrative discourse. The reds are crisp and light, with a very fine texture. The whites, meanwhile, possess a surprisingly dry sweetness. Nothing feels forced. Nothing feels overdone. Just an almost suspended expression of the terroir.
