Our Review of the Cuvée

On the nose, this wine reveals elegant aromas of yellow fruit and apricots, characteristic of the Viognier and Roussanne grapes from which it is made. On the palate, balance is the key, with a full-bodied, silky texture that delicately coats the palate. Floral and mineral notes gradually emerge, offering a lovely finish and a lingering sensation of freshness. Carefully crafted, this wine reflects the estate’s commitment to preserving the authenticity and potential of its exceptional terroir.

Domaine Jolivet is a family-owned winery located in Saint-Jean-de-Muzols, in the heart of the Saint-Joseph appellation on the right bank of the Rhône. Founded by Bastien Jolivet, who took over the family vineyards, the estate covers approximately 10 hectares, planted primarily with Syrah.

Each vineyard block is harvested and vinified separately to preserve the unique characteristics of each terroir, then blended at bottling to create balanced and powerful wines. The wines are renowned for their aromatic purity, structure, and aging potential.

The estate’s red wines, particularly the “1907” vintage, display deep aromatic intensity with notes of dark fruit and spices, expert aging, and significant aging potential.
