The must-see winemakers of the Loire

It is very difficult to select only a handful of our Loire winemakers as they are all so talented.

Nevertheless, when discussing the great wines of the Loire Valley, it's impossible not to mention certain names. Each one, in its own style, manages to evoke strong emotions as soon as the bottle is opened.

Domaine de la Piffaudière

La Piffaudière is an exceptional estate, nestled on the slopes of the Cher Valley. The vines are organically cultivated, and the wines are natural. Olivier is something of a magician crafting these natural wines. They are sublime, unique, and exquisitely smooth. A truly high-quality product from a passionate winemaker.

Fontenay Castle

The estate, situated on the banks of the Cher River, boasts a clay and sandy terroir, enhanced by the climate. This allows the grapes to fully express the qualities of the terroir. The wines are bursting with freshness and finesse. We highly recommend them. They are sublime.

Horizon Mill

Originally from Northern France, the Desgrousilliers family has worked in every aspect of agriculture. First cereal farming, then dairy farming, and now winemaking. This passion for the land and nature runs in the family. It was in 2002 that Hervé and Christine, wine enthusiasts, embarked on this adventure.

Menard Gaborit

For the Ménard Gaborit family, cultivating vines is more than just a profession; it's a passion! Indeed, their estate has been located in the Muscadet region, in the heart of the Loire Valley, since the 18th century. Today, the family continues its tradition, offering wines that are each as delicious as the next.

Château Ferran

In 1976, the château was acquired by Julien. Located in Bordeaux within the Haut Benauge appellation, he decided to modernize the estate and cultivate wines according to biodynamic principles. Thus, vinification is carried out according to the lunar calendar using grape varieties typical of the Bordeaux region.

Château Caminade haut Guérin

The Château has been a family estate since the 1930s. It is owned by two families: the Thibaults and the Caminades. The vineyards are located on the heights of the Génissac plateau, where the soil is clay-gravel. Since then, the estate has expanded through the purchase of additional plots, contributing to its continued growth.

Chibaou Estate

A true family affair, this estate, nestled in the rolling hills of Entre-Deux-Mers, is renowned not only for its fine wines but also for its appealing name: Chibaou! Or "horse" in the Gascon dialect, a tribute to his great-grandfather, the first to cultivate the family vineyards.
