Our unusual winemakers

Some of our winemakers have colorful personalities, which is reflected in their wines. They don't like to follow the crowd and therefore produce bottles that are out of the ordinary!

Let yourself be surprised by our most unusual winemakers!

Egiategia

One day, Emmanuel Poirmeur had the crazy idea of making his wine underwater! This agricultural engineer filed the patent for underwater winemaking in 2008. Then, clearly unafraid of taking risks, he established his vineyard on a pristine stretch of the Basque Coast. Discover his unique wines as soon as possible: red, white, and even rosé—there's something for everyone!

The Jas des Papes

The estate boasts a plot of land with several soil types. The old Cinsault, Grenache, and Clairette vines lend a unique character and truly reflect the estate's identity. The utmost care is taken in tending the vines to avoid damaging the juice, as this would diminish the quality of the wines. A must-try: the Châteauneuf-du-Pape, especially since it's organic. On the palate, it's sublime.

La Coume-Lumet

Coume-Lumet is a story of encounter. A meeting between a mathematical engineer and a psychologist who, after discovering Languedoc wines in the 2000s, meeting an oenologist, and falling in love with the region, decided to embark on a daring adventure of conversion to finally make a living from their passion! The wines are flavorful and full of freshness.

Jas des Papes

The estate is located in the Saummades area, on plots of mixed soils. The old vines of Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah perfectly reflect the estate's identity. To preserve its vines and terroir, the estate practices organic farming. The result? Sublime wines with character.
