Domaine Tripoz

Song of the Tower 2023

Bourgogne | Red | 2023

The vines, entirely free of chemical treatments since their planting in 2001, benefit from deep clay-limestone soil. Hand-harvesting ensures meticulous selection of the grapes. Careful winemaking includes complete destemming and a three-week maceration period, incorporating a cold soak. Ten months of aging on fine lees in oak barrels adds complexity to this wine. The low SO2 level guarantees exceptional purity.

Our opinion on the vintage

Upon opening, this Pinot Noir releases delicate aromas of red fruit and a subtly oaky note, a testament to its barrel aging. On the palate, it reveals a silky texture and a fine structure. The tannins are elegant, providing a pleasant sensation of smoothness. This wine is perfectly enjoyable now but also promises excellent aging potential.

Tripoz Estate

Domaine Tripoz

Bourgogne | France

In the Mâconnais region, Domaine Tripoz cultivates its vineyards biodynamically, on clay-limestone soils characteristic of the sub-region. Vineyard work aims for natural balance and optimal ripeness, in order to preserve the expression of the grape varieties and terroirs.

Chardonnays form the heart of the production. They exhibit ample and structured profiles, supported by a consistent tension that provides balance and length. Aging is carried out with precision, alternating between tank and barrel depending on the cuvée, with the aim of complementing the wine's character without weighing down its expression.

The Pinot Noirs, produced in smaller quantities, yield wines with bright fruit and a fluid texture, emphasizing suppleness and drinkability. All the wines are distinguished by a remarkable consistency, with precise, balanced, and approachable wines that remain true to the Mâconnais identity.
