Biodynamic cultivation, certified by Ecocert, ensures that natural cycles are respected. Vinified with 50% whole clusters, this wine is aged in concrete tanks, thereby preserving its remarkable purity and freshness. Bottling is carried out with great care, preceded by light filtration.

Our Review of the Cuvée

From the very first glance, the luminous, translucent purple color catches the eye. The nose is expressive and precise, blending floral notes of violet and peony with aromas of raspberry, blackberry, and damson plum, along with a delicate, almost smoky, spicy touch. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and enveloping, supported by a velvety texture. The balance between ripeness and freshness is spot-on, making the wine particularly easy to drink. The finish, energetic and indulgent, lingers with vibrant fruit and a savory mouthfeel.

A wine with character, nuanced and immediately appealing!

In the Côte Roannaise, Domaine Sérol is managed by Stéphane Sérol, who took over the family estate in 1998. The vineyard now spans approximately 28 hectares, situated on the volcanic slopes of the Roannaise region, a geological context that imparts characteristic tension and freshness to the wines.

The estate is managed using organic farming practices, with meticulous soil management based on organic matter and lime amendments, to maintain the vitality of the vineyard and the balance of the vines. Harvesting is done manually, with rigorous grape sorting, ensuring the collection of optimally ripe grapes.

Vinifications are conducted plot by plot, with each cuvée processed separately to highlight the nuances of its specific terroir. The winery is primarily equipped with concrete tanks, supplemented by a few truncated wooden vats. Fermentations are carried out using indigenous yeasts, without ... Read more
