Our Review of the Cuvée
This wine reveals a delicate nose where mineral nuances—derived from the flint and gravel soils—blend with refined floral notes. On the palate, the texture is both silky and precise, offering beautiful harmony. Aging in demi-muids and Burgundy barrels adds further complexity, with an elegant and lingering finish. An authentic wine that reveals the full potential of the Menu Pineau, perfect for pairing with refined dishes or simply to be savored on its own!
Clos Du Tue Boeuf
South-West | France
At Puzelat, the philosophy is not to correct the wine, but to guide it. Producing Gamay or Menu Pineau in Touraine thus becomes an exercise in controlled freedom. The cuvées often display very open, almost juicy fruit, yet are supported by an acidic backbone that keeps them precise. They are uniquely themselves. This has been the house's signature for decades.
