60 hectares of vines require work, but Gaelle and Siffrein do it in a remarkable way. It was necessary to dare to change completely the profession and take over the family domain to transform it. Are you looking for a buddy wine? Choose the "Sundays" range. Do you want elegance? Let yourself be tempted by the Cuvée Jean. Delicacy? The cuvée A will satisfy you.
The vineyard has belonged to the Siffrein family since 1856 but it is only since 2007 that we have been fully managing the estate and that our wines are marketed. I worked in wealth management and Siffrein is a microelectronics engineer, professional backgrounds not really related to wine, but we were sure that one day we would take over the estate. Since then, no more grapes for the cooperative, we have kept our old quality plots and started converting the land to organic farming in 2009.
The Terroir of Lignane was intended for wine production and the Romans understood this well since they were the first to plant vines there. Since then it has been Neptune, our estate's Lion, who proudly watches over the grapes! (see supporting photos)
