Our story

Château Gigognan was built on the foundations of a Roman temple that was a priory in the 16th century, when we found the first archives of the vineyard. After having passed through the hands of several owners, it was recently acquired by the Hénin family who undertook major renovation work, the construction of a new winery, the reconstruction of the vineyard which will be completely organic from the 2018 harvest. This process is supported by the advice of the famous consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt.
