The Gonnet family has lived in Bedarrides for more than four centuries. The farmhouse as we know it today was built in 1880 by Jean-Etienne Gonnet. The cultivation of the vine began in 1950 with Etienne Gonnet, thirty hectares on the famous appellation of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, marking the beginning of a history that still lives today through his sons Jean and Michel. They took over the estate in 1975 and the new generation represented by Bertrand and Guillaume now participates in the work of the vine and wine with passion and quality.
"Like Obelix, I fell into the very small pot. I caught the virus at a very young age. Working the vines in a natural way, harvesting the grapes, vinifying, raising the wines as if they were our children. To be a winegrower is above all to be passionate."
"In 2002, the estate was expanded with a magnificent twenty-hectare property of Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône-Villages Signargues called Font du Vent."
