La Glacière

In Tresques, the vines of the Privat brothers, in the north of the Gard and within reach of the bouchon d'Uzés, grow on fresh terroirs producing lively, spicy and gourmet juices. 12 hectares of Grenaches, Carignans, Cinsaults, Mourvédres, Syrahs, Coustons and Marcelans, as well as grenadiers and olive trees grown organically, the wines, outside of all chapels, dogmas and gurus, are designed and vinified with the aim of giving pleasure.

Our story

"Man and the Earth". This is the geography defined by the libertarian Elysée Reclus, so this is also the terroir. There are not only winegrowers, there are not only stones!.. Terroir, this psalmodified sentence is therefore none other than the osmosis of the earth and those who have their feet in it. The lands of the Icehouse have been bequeathed to us or simply lent to us for a while, let's try to read them and reveal them. The tools are strength and stubbornness first, but above all friendship, jouissance and freedom, passed on by Ferdinand and then by Jean, the fruits of Tresques are once again vinified at home in 2004 by François and Olivier. The vintages have passed. We are always thirsty!
