Located in the heart of the southern Rhône Valley, in Tulette. The Domaine des Césars vineyard consists of 7 hectares between the Enclave des Papes and Rasteau. Close to Avignon, it benefits from a microclimate where the cultivated grape varieties give a unique specificity. He benefits from a diversity of soil that allows him to adapt the grape varieties to the nature of the soil.

Our story

Jean Pierre and Jean Christophe raise their wines with finesse and character. It is with passion that they took over the vines of grandfather César and René César and extended the estate.

Other little stories

For the "Rouges" we produce three grape varieties: Syrah, Carignan and Grenache noir. We try to get the quintessence from it to obtain wines of character! Grenache for the roundness it gives, Syrah for its aromatic side and Carignan, renowned for providing the structure necessary for the ageing of wines. Concerning the "Blancs", it will be the end of 2017 to taste the first bottles with a blend of Viognier, Marsanne, Roussane and grenache.

My passion for the soil and the vines dates back to my earliest childhood, I have the image of the grandfather César with his horse and his barrels Today I try to produce wines with my grandfather in mind and bring a real passion to my personality!
