"To be free to make the wines we love" delivers Dirk, a former car racing driver, even if it means taking some of his wines out of the AOC to have the freedom to make his own blends, his own signatures. The passion, precision, risk measurement and teamwork of his former life as a pilot are now found in the winegrower he has become!

Our story

"After a career as a racing driver, and several years as a Lancia and Maserati dealer, I was called by the South. I created Domaine Le Plan in 2000 with 1.7 hectares and 5 cottages. The wine business quickly took over, and in 2009 I sold the cottages to build a new and modern winery in Suze la Rousse. Since then the surface has developed, and I currently have 25 hectares. After the realization of my dream of becoming a pilot, here is another dream that comes true with the wine estate Le Plan Vermeersch!"
