A ruby red hue, this wine evokes raspberry, strawberry and cherry. With spicy aromas. On the palate, a full-bodied and fruity wine, with a fleshy roundness at maturity.
The word of the Winemaker, :
In the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, 12 km from Chalon-sûr-Saône, Mercurey is one of the most important wine appellations in Burgundy. Protected from the humid winds by its slopes, the vines are located between 230 and 320 meters of altitude. Vinification in traditional wooden vats, gravity-fed, temperature-controlled and partially aged in barrels.
