The color is a lovely clear yellow and the nose is lively and dashing with peach and acacia scents. With a good fullness on the palate, supple, fresh, without excess of liquor, this wine "can be drunk anytime with... a little bit of everything" according to one taster; this is no small compliment when we know the subtlety of food and wine pairings in Sauternes. Guide Hachette des vins 2016 (2016-2022 Peach Tart) Beautiful 2011, powerful in the nose as in the mouth, with discreet notes of candied fruits and white flowers, intense, of very good evolution. (Guide Dussert-Gerber des Vins 2016) A very nice Sauternes 2011, typical, a beautiful golden color, a fat wine, with a supple structure, very elegant, with aromas of toast, nutmeg and macerated yellow fruit, very harmonious, powerful and smooth. (Dussert-Gerber Guide 2015) 91/100/(Wine Enthusiast Magazine - February 2015) 87-90/100(International Wine Cellar August 2012) Deep golden hue. Linear nose driven by white fruit with a subtle floral note. Easy drinking, fresh and fruity palate lacking the complexity one would expect. An approachable wine. 91/100 (Gilbert & Gaillard July/August 2012) Very nice subtle nose of sage, verbena and sweet spices. The palate is bright and crisp, stretching out on white flesh fruits. 16/20 (GAULT&MILLAU-Supplément Bordeaux 2011 - June 2012) Medium expressive nose. It expresses itself on a rather full body and a beautiful liquor. Pure, focused, vibrant flavours. Wonderful layers from dried chrysanthemums to pineapple and sweetened ginger. Silky texture. Fairly long length. Drink 2021 - 2036. 17 points (Decanter.com - April 16, 2012) An apple-fresh wine, with its richness coming through slowly. It has weight as well as a touch of marmalade spice and lemon acidity. With its light character, Its delicious. 89-91 Roger Voss (Winemag.com -2 April 2012) This seems a bit raw and rustic, with edgy apricot, fig and piecrust notes. Offers lots of orange zest on the finish, with a slightly coarse texture.87-90 Jean Marc Quarin(www.winespectator.com-9 April 2012)
