A love story that begins in the vineyards… About thirty kilometers south of Lyon, follow the Rhône and you will find, nestled against the foothills of the Massif Central, an exceptional vineyard located in the heart of the prestigious wines of the Northern Rhône: the Laurent Habrard estate!

A true family affair, this estate located in the Northern Rhône Valley is known for its fine wines and prestigious appellations. But do you know the little secret of this vineyard? No? We're going to let you in on a little secret…

First of all, it's important to know that Marie-Thérèse and Marcel, Laurent Habrard's parents, still support the estate's activities today. Love for their land, passion for their wines—that's what this unwavering support demonstrates. A passion that goes way back, born almost magically from a chance encounter in the heart of the estate's vineyards. In 1965, Marie-Thérèse, looking to earn some extra money, came to help with the grape harvest at the Habrard's. Between picking grapes, she met Marcel, one of the estate's five sons. It was love at first sight! Together, they had four children who would later take over the management of the estate.

Wines with prestigious organic appellations and high environmental value.

The Laurent Habrard estate's production is environmentally conscious. Committed to preserving its land, the estate adheres to the specifications of various ecological labels. As a result, you will find wines bearing prestigious organic, natural, and High Environmental Value (HVE) designations at the estate.

Respect for the environment is paramount, but so is respect for the wine itself. For Laurent Habrard, wines must strive for excellence. The vineyard spans 15 hectares and is divided into three appellations: Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, and Hermitage. But resting on the laurels of these appellations is out of the question. That's not the winery's philosophy. Consequently, the estate has implemented a sulfite-free winemaking method for its red wines. The goal? To preserve all the natural flavors and the authentic taste of the terroir.

Laurent has released a range of several wines that express what he believes to be the soul of the estate. Here is a small selection of his wines:

-Grand Classic White 2020 : This 100% Marsanne white wine reveals an expressive nose. You can find fruity notes with aromas of citrus fruits, particularly lemon and grapefruit. On the palate, this Crozes-Hermitage is generous, refined, and full-bodied.

-Kevin red 2017 : This beautiful 2017 vintage has a dense black color with ruby ​​highlights. You will be surprised by its powerful and expressive nose. Aromas of violet, spices, and toast will tantalize your senses. On the palate, discover smoky notes and smooth tannins.

-Grand Classique Rouge 2020 : This wine is a true delight. Pour yourself a glass and observe. A garnet color with violet highlights. Second step: the nose. Notes of cherry and fresh fig, enhanced by floral notes and a touch of spice. Finally, let's move on to the palate. Powerful, rich, and beautifully rounded! It's a wine for everyone to enjoy!
