Journalist and winemaker, two professions not so far removed from each other!

Diary Entry #3: The adventure is long and costly, but Marc, my father's, hard work finally pays off. In 2005, Mollard officially joins the French catalogue of grape varieties. A wonderful reward for the winemaker and the institutions that supported him!

Laetitia Allemand: I am a winemaker and a journalist

I should mention that before becoming a winemaker, I was a journalist. I still am, to some extent… When people ask me what these two professions have in common, I reply that they're not so different! In both cases, you have to be curious, enjoy meeting people, and take pleasure in sharing and exchanging ideas…

Furthermore, for me, wine is the result of a true "author's work". It is the fruit of a particular terroir but also and above all the expression of the sensitivity of the winemaker who created it.

The oenologist Jacques Puisais often says, " I want wines that reflect the character of the place where they were born and the passion of those who made them ." I share the same aspirations. I hope to introduce you to atypical and unique wines, and to share with you the adventure of my career change!
