Personal Journal #1: La Tour de By belonged to our grandfather, Marc Pagès; today, my cousin Frédéric and I are carrying on the tradition. The château is located on the Gironde estuary. We’ve been exploring these vineyards, nestled between land and sea, since our earliest childhood. As children, we spent every summer there. It was truly heartbreaking when we had to go back to school just as harvest time began. We were deeply influenced by our grandfather’s teachings. Our ambitions for the château come from him. Our ambitions? To modernize the style of our wines and make La Tour de By a flagship estate in the Médoc!
