Vignobles Dubois

Bordeaux | France

Winemakers in Bordeaux for four generations, Vignobles Dubois is located on the Right Bank, within the Bordeaux, Bordeaux Rosé, Lalande-de-Pomerol, Pomerol, and Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellations. The family estate is situated along the banks of the Dordogne River, on clay-limestone soils known as “amoureuses.” Since 1998, Xavier Dubois has been at the helm of the estate, continuing the work of previous generations while modernizing production methods. The vineyard spans 18 hectares, planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. The properties have held the Vigneron Indépendant certification since the late 1980s. A restructuring is underway, involving the removal of old vines and replanting with higher-quality rootstocks. The estate has also updated its packaging and created a tasting room to better welcome its customers. Committed to sustainable development, Xavier Dubois is interested in sustainable and organic practices and has trained in the transition to organic farming.
