Our Review of the Cuvée

This wine displays a brilliant, deep purple color with violet reflections. Its intense and complex nose reveals mineral notes, black fruits, and cherry. On the palate, it stands out for its beautiful presence and very long, fine tannins. The perceived sweetness and minerality are appreciated, along with fresh fruit on the finish. A balanced and elegant wine that will appeal to connoisseurs of rich and structured wines.

Vignobles Pelvillain is a family-run estate located in Albas, in the Lot valley, the historical heart of the Cahors vineyard. A négociant business was established in 2016, further expanded by the addition of Château Cayrouses in 2022.

The estate spans several terroirs around Albas and Prayssac, where soils vary between limestone, clay, pebbles, and sand, offering rich diversity for viticulture. Production is primarily focused on the Cahors appellation ... Read more
