Our Review of the Cuvée

This Pinot Noir boasts a youthful, promising purple hue. On the nose, typical cherry aromas delicately tickle the senses. On the palate, a supple and tender texture offers a light body, allowing the fruit to fully express itself. Perfect with grilled meats or a rib of beef, this wine will also enhance your unmarinated red meats and mild cheeses. An ideal choice for lovers of elegant and approachable wines.

Located in Saint-Bris-le-Vineux, at the heart of the Auxerrois vineyard, Domaine Grivot-Goisot is rooted in an ancient viticultural history, documented in this region since the 15th century. The estate, as it stands today, truly took shape after World War II, subsequently being passed down through generations of the Goisot family. In 2020, Anaëlle Goisot and René Grivot took over the family operation, ensuring its continued legacy.

The vineyard spans approximately 26 hectares, distributed across several iconic appellations in northern Burgundy: Saint-Bris, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru, Bourgogne Côte d’Auxerre, and Bourgogne Aligoté. Saint-Bris represents a regional anomaly, being the sole Burgundian appellation that permits Sauvignon cultivation, grown here on Kimmeridgian limestone soils, similar to those found in Chablis.

Vineyard management is based on sustainable viticulture, with particular attention paid to soil preservation and yield management ... Read more
