Our Review of the Cuvée

This Maranges first charms us with its light ruby color, then its nose reveals captivating aromas of red berries, redcurrant, and violet, with a subtle hint of fresh almond. On the palate, the structure comes through, combining mellow oak with a hint of pepper. The tannins are both firm and elegant, pleasantly extending the experience with a delicate finish. This wine is the perfect companion for a grilled rib of beef or duck confit, and will benefit from being decanted before serving.
