Our opinion on the vintage

On the nose, this wine reveals delicate aromas with floral and fruity nuances, thanks to its traditional method and harmonious blend of grape varieties. On the palate, it offers a fine and lively texture with a clear and pure expression of the terroir, characterized by the minerality imparted by the shell-rich falun soil. The sensation is both fresh and refined, each sip revealing a complexity that will seduce lovers of authentic wines. The absence of added sulfur makes it a pure and direct sensory experience.

Domaine Les Grandes Vignes

Domaine Les Grandes Vignes

Languedoc | France

In Anjou, the Vaillant family has been running Domaine Les Grandes Vignes biodynamically for many years. The vineyard is mainly planted with Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc, emblematic grape varieties of the region, cultivated with constant attention to soil balance and vine vitality.

The plots surrounding Thouarcé present varied profiles, which the estate interprets through precise winemaking, sometimes without the addition of sulfur. The white wines develop a natural character and measured tension, where the fruit retains a restrained and legible expression. The reds favor supple structures and a fluid texture, resulting from controlled extraction.

The winemaking process is carried out with restraint, aiming to preserve the direct expression of the terroir and the clarity of the wines' profiles. The estate's work as a whole is distinguished by great consistency, producing wines faithful to their origin and consistent in their expression across vintages.
