Our Review of the Cuvée

Similar to the wines of Beaune, of which it is a part, the Côte de Beaune Les Monts Battois is a white wine with liveliness and brilliance, featuring a deep golden color. Aromas of citrus and fresh grass fill the bouquet. Rounded, supple, and with good acidity, it expresses all the charm of the fruit on the palate with a touch of minerality and often finishes with a hint of hazelnut.

Burgundy | France

Domaine Cauvard is a family-owned winery located in Beaune, Burgundy. It cultivates approximately eighteen hectares of vineyards spread across several communes in the Côte de Beaune, including appellations such as Beaune, Pommard, Volnay, Aloxe-Corton, Corton-Charlemagne, and Hautes-Côtes de Beaune.

Production follows a traditional approach, with a focus on vineyard management and plot-by-plot winemaking to preserve the identity of each terroir. Harvesting may be done by hand or by machine, depending on the vintage.

I do not have any information regarding the year the estate was established or whether it holds any official organic or environmental certifications.
