Château De Gaure

Campagne de Gaure 2021

Languedoc | Rouge | 2021

This wine is a blend of Syrah and Grenache Noir, produced by Château de Gaure, led by Pierre Fabre, the heir to a line of winemakers spanning five generations. The grapes, carefully hand-sorted, ferment in concrete tanks to preserve the purity and authenticity of local flavors. A portion undergoes carbonic maceration, adding complexity, before aging in barrels for 12 months, designed to enrich the wine’s structure and flavors.

Our Review of the Cuvée

The Campagne cuvée first captivates with its garnet color and purple highlights, followed by an intense bouquet of blackberry, violet, pepper, and smoked bacon. On the palate, it offers a generous and enveloping experience thanks to a velvety texture carried by fruit notes intertwined with floral and spicy accents. The lively finish reveals lingering flavors of pepper, bay leaf, and cocoa. Every sip promises a harmonious and flavorful delight, a testament to traditional craftsmanship.
