Tenuta Migliavacca is distinguished by its biodynamic approach, initiated in the 1960s. This family estate, now managed by Francesco Brezza, perpetuates environmentally conscious viticulture. Freisa, a historic Piedmontese grape variety, benefits from an optimal clay-limestone terroir. Vinified without filtration or clarification and aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve its authenticity, this wine draws its richness from natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts.

Our opinion on the vintage

From the first sip, Freisa exudes finesse: crisp red fruit, a touch of floral notes, nothing overpowering. On the palate, it's supple, fresh, with real energy and delicate tannins that add structure without ever becoming harsh. The wine unfolds gracefully, with that slightly rustic yet sincere elegance so beloved in Piedmont. A straightforward, vibrant wine, a pleasure to drink and a wine of character!

Cascina Miglivacca

Piémont | Italy

Cascina Miglivacca is an estate located in Piedmont, in the heart of the Langhe, a region historically focused on family winemaking. The estate is part of a local tradition where vines are cultivated on a small scale, with a strong emphasis on the connection between terroir and wine.

The vines are planted on hillsides typical of the region, on marl-limestone soils, well-suited to traditional Piedmontese grape varieties. Vineyard work prioritizes an approach that respects the natural balance and the rhythm of the seasons.
