Anecdotes from the estate: 'Only number 10s on my team' The estate's history: A family-owned property located in Capian, in the heart of the Entre-deux-Mers region, on a hilly terroir of silt, clay, gravel, and iron-rich sandstone. The vineyard comprises 5 hectares of red grape varieties (80% Merlot & 20% Cabernet Sauvignon) and 4 hectares of white grape varieties (60% Sauvignon Blanc & 40% Sémillon). The estate's pride: The property is managed by Olivier Lacoste and his sister Laure. They both wish to continue the work undertaken by their father, Michel, who restructured the vineyard and modernized the old cellars. Since its inception in 1991, the vineyard has practiced sustainable agriculture. The transition to organic farming happened naturally twenty years later in 2011 and the vineyard has therefore been Certified in Organic Agriculture (Ecocert) since 2014.
