Domaine de Majas

Majas blanc 2024

Côtes Catalanes | White | 2024

This white wine blends four distinct grape varieties: Macabeu, Rolle, Carignan Blanc, and Grenache Blanc, offering a unique aromatic richness. Made from vines aged 20 to 45 years on clay-limestone and schist slopes, its organic cultivation since 2007 ensures environmentally responsible quality. Natural winemaking uses indigenous yeasts, minimizing intervention, and aging in concrete tanks on fine lees without filtration accentuates its silky and complex texture.

Our opinion on the vintage

Upon opening, this wine unfolds a delicate bouquet of white flowers, mineral notes, and a subtle touch of citrus. On the palate, the texture is generous and smooth, harmonized by a vibrant freshness. Flavors of white-fleshed fruit are balanced with light saline notes, a result of the unique terroir. It reveals a beautiful persistence, reflecting its maturity and the finesse of its grape varieties. Ideal with seafood or a fish dish, it can also be enjoyed on its own, appreciating its absolute complexity. Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Domaine de Majas

Roussillon | France

Domaine de Majas is located in the Côtes Catalanes, in the south of France, around the Agly valley, and cultivates a vineyard of about thirty hectares in organic farming on varied soils between clay, limestone and schist.

The estate mainly produces red wines from the region, often based on Grenache, reflecting the richness of the terroirs of Roussillon and Fenouillèdes, with vines that are sometimes a hundred years old.
