Our opinion on the vintage

On tasting, this wine stands out with its brilliant straw-yellow color. The nose opens with captivating aromas of roasted white fruits, where apple, pear, and quince mingle harmoniously with notes of butter and toasted brioche. On the palate, the experience is utterly captivating: a structure reminiscent of Chenin Blanc, with pronounced acidity and a full-bodied character. Mineral and smoky notes beautifully balance the aromatic richness, offering a vibrant and persistent finish, with a touch of bitterness that energizes the whole. A true sensory exploration.

Domaine des Ronces

Jura | France

Les Ronces cultivates Savagnin and Chardonnay using biodynamic methods that enhance the natural tension of the Jura terroir. The white wines display a broad yet structured texture, balanced by fine acidity, and aging under a veil of yeast or topped up brings out two complementary facets of the terroir. The reds, more understated, exhibit a lovely savoriness. A precise and patient estate that accurately interprets the Jura soils.
