Our opinion on the vintage

This wine offers a true symphony of flavors on the palate. Its deep, purplish-red color is eye-catching and promises a rich tasting experience. On the nose, delicate aromas of white flowers, violet, Burlat cherry, and subtly present spices unfold. On the palate, the generous fruitiness and supple, melted tannins give way to an explosion of red fruit. The long, focused finish brings this tasting to a triumphant close.

Located in the heart of the Saumur appellation, Domaine du Moulin de l'Horizon covers approximately 30 hectares, situated around the Moulin de l'Horizon hill, one of the highest points in the Saumur region at around 110 meters altitude. The grape varieties are dominated by Cabernet Franc (approximately 50%), complemented by Chenin Blanc (30%) and Chardonnay (20%), allowing for the production of wines in all three colors.

The estate was founded in 2002 by Hervé and Christine, who come from an agricultural background in northern France, initially focused on arable ... Lire plus
