This wine, with no added sulfites, comes from 45-year-old vines grown in clay-limestone soil. A blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault, it is produced using semi-carbonic maceration, which enhances its freshness and fruity character. The planting density and controlled yield of 35 hl/ha allow for a full expression of the grape varieties, while ensuring a smooth and supple texture on the palate.

Our opinion on the vintage

Visually, this wine displays an elegant, translucent purple hue. The nose, meanwhile, delights with its intense aromas of red fruit yogurt, enhanced by floral and peppery nuances. On the palate, it reveals a roundness and fullness marked by a vibrant freshness. The texture is supple and fruity, offering a beautiful length. The slightly chewy finish recalls the "yogurt-like" red fruits, accompanied by hints of peony and pepper, inviting a harmonious and delicate tasting experience.

Located in the heart of the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Domaine Duseigneur draws on a long family history and a vineyard of approximately thirty hectares. The plots, planted largely with Grenache, include vines aged from 50 to over 100 years, spread across several appellations of the southern Rhône.

Grenache plays a central role in the grape varieties planted, cultivated with a focus on purity and precision of expression.

The winemaking process aims to faithfully express the characteristics of the terroirs, with measured extractions and aging tailored to the desired profiles. The wines prioritize balance and depth over power, allowing time to play its ... Lire plus
