Goffrey De Noüel

The awful Jojo

Vin de France | Red | 2022

L'affreux Jojo is a cuvée resulting from Geoffrey de Noüel's minimalist approach at Clos de la Peuvrie. Composed primarily of Cabernet Franc with a touch of Côt, this wine reflects a respectful approach, where vinification is carried out naturally without added yeasts and with minimal sulfur.
Blending of different Cabernet Franc parcels depending on the vintage.
Aged for six months in vats, without fining or filtration, it retains the authenticity of the flavors from its certified organic terroir.

Our opinion on the vintage

A wine that seduces with its aromas of ripe red fruit and subtle spicy notes. On the palate, this wine reveals a supple texture and a well-defined structure, thanks to the richness of Cabernet Franc and the delicate addition of Côt. The tannins are present but well-integrated, offering a delicately persistent finish. Ideal to accompany a roast meat dish or a selection of mature cheeses, it reveals its full potential after a little aeration. An authentic and refined tasting experience.
