This wine is made from biodynamically grown grapes, with no additives or filtration, and is vinified in concrete tanks through plot-by-plot selection with spontaneous fermentation. Our take on this vintage

The nose is delicate and fresh, with notes of blackberry, ink, and spices, along with a slight hint of mint and animal notes. The palate is round, full-bodied, and velvety, offering a rich, juicy texture bursting with fruit and freshness, with a very slight effervescence in the background that adds a positive touch. The balance is superb, and the richness borders on the decadent. The finish gains in concentration and structure, but also in fruit and freshness.

The Wind of Days

Jura | France

Domaine Le Vent des Jours is a vineyard located on the high plateaus of the Cahors appellation, in Villesèque in the Lot department, founded in 2018 by Laurent Marre and François Sudreau. Situated on Jurassic limestone hillsides, they cultivate their vines biodynamically with hand-harvesting, without herbicides or insecticides, and work the vineyards with the help of draft animals to minimize the impact of machinery.

The estate’s philosophy is based on creating a harmonious ecosystem between the land, the vineyards, and the surrounding biodiversity, notably by incorporating lavender, olive trees, and beehives into the vineyards.

The wines produced reflect the freshness, finesse, and minerality of the Cacussian terroirs, with a range that includes full-bodied Cahors reds made from Malbec and Merlot, as well as white wines and Vins de France that express the identity of the local terroir.
