Our opinion on the vintage

At first glance, the translucent purple robe intrigues with its lightness. The nose immediately seduces with luscious aromas of black fruit cream, enhanced by a subtle milky touch. On the palate, the attack is both round and ample, with a velvety texture that envelops the palate. The pulpy and juicy sensation is enlivened by a slight effervescence that can be enjoyed or allowed to dissipate naturally. This sparkling and audacious version is complemented by a slightly crisp finish, making the whole experience fresh and full of vivacity. An ideal companion for a summer meal, with its mischievous character and sparkling fruit.

Mas d'Espanet

Languedoc | France

Mas d'Espanet is a family-run vineyard located between Uzès and Sommières, in the heart of the Lens massif in Languedoc. It was revived in the 1980s after having been abandoned for many years. Denys and Agnès Armand cultivate a variety of white and red grape varieties on approximately 20 hectares of vines, in a garrigue environment ideal for viticulture.

The estate is managed using biodynamic farming methods, with the aim of allowing the terroir to fully express itself, while also incorporating traditional agricultural practices such as sheep farming and complementary crops. The grapes are harvested by hand, and the winemaking process varies depending on the vintage, combining tradition and precision.

The wines of Mas d'Espanet offer a beautiful aromatic freshness, a finesse of expression and a strong typicity, reflecting the climatic and geological influences of the Languedoc massif.
