Our opinion on the vintage

Red Notes welcomes you with a translucent purple robe. On the nose, subtle and complex aromas of candied cherry, plum, and sweet spices intertwine with floral notes of potpourri. On the palate, the attack is round and ample, revealing a silky texture where ripe fruit mingles with a noble bitterness of stone fruit, reminiscent of cocoa and orange peel. The finish is intense and vibrant, leaving a lingering and invigorating impression, marked by this refined bitterness that echoes the aromas perceived on the nose.

Cabardès plays on the meeting of Atlantic and Mediterranean influences, and the Cabrol estate has been exploring this intersection for decades. Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Grenache coexist here, producing luminous, vibrant wines supported by fine tannins. Vinification prioritizes the wine's delicate texture, avoiding heavy extraction, and allows for a clear expression of the limestone terroir. The result is an ethereal, almost graphic balance, enhanced by discreet aging. Cabrol has long demonstrated that this still relatively unknown appellation possesses a truly unique character.
