Our opinion on the vintage

This wine charms with its deep, translucent garnet color, promising a rich sensory experience. The nose reveals refined aromas of blackcurrant, accompanied by a delicate touch of orange peel and subtle spicy nuances. On the palate, the balance between roundness and breadth is expressed through ripe and intense fruit. The finish seduces with its density, revealing a velvety and flavorful texture, marked by persistent notes of dark fruit and fine spices that envelop the senses.

Mas d'Agalis

Languedoc | France

Mas d'Agalis is a wine estate located in Nébian, in the Hérault region, where Lionel Maurel, from a long line of winemakers, has been cultivating approximately 8 hectares of traditional Languedoc grape varieties since 2004. These include Carignan, Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre for the reds, and Terret Bourret, Vermentino, Chenin Blanc, and Clairette for the whites. The vineyard sits on Villafranchian-era terraces with a high proportion of rounded pebbles, which contribute to the production of expressive and distinctive wines.

Vineyard work is carried out without chemical or synthetic products, favoring tilling and organic fertilizers to respect soil life and encourage the expression of the terroir year after year. The harvest is done by hand, and winemaking is carried out with minimal intervention, often limiting the addition of sulfur to the bare minimum.

The estate's wines fully reflect the Mediterranean climate and the diversity of the terroir: from structured
