Domaine D'Ouréa

Languedoc | France

Since 2009, Adrien Roustan has built a solid reputation in the Côtes du Rhône in just a few years. Located on the hills above Beaumes-de-Venise, Domaine d'Ouréa—named after the Greek god of mountains—produces light, airy reds despite the predominance of Grenache: gentle extractions, short aging periods, and tannins of remarkable finesse.

The philosophy is decidedly non-interventionist: to bring out the best in the grapes, not to force them. In Vacqueyras, as in Beaumes, the wines gain depth without ever losing their balance. Adrien has even chosen ArdeaSeal corks to allow for natural variation during aging. These are luminous wines, shaped by the terroir’s character.
