Passionate and complementary, Corinne and Jean-Philippe bring you the best of the Gamay grape through their sustainable farming practices and handcrafted winemaking. Corinne focuses on softness and finesse, while Jean-Philippe seeks out tannins and length while preserving the fruit. Corinne’s Chiroubles, grown on pink granite soils, and Jean-Philippe’s Morgon Côte du Py, grown on granitic schist, offer a beautiful tannic structure and a long finish. A true harmony between nature and family expertise dating back to the 1950s.

Our Review of the Cuvée

This wine offers an intense aroma of ripe red fruits and spices, giving way to a full-bodied and well-balanced palate. Its silky texture and refined tannins create a beautiful harmony on the palate. It evokes notes of forest floor and leather, with a long, lingering finish. Perfect for pairing with red meat dishes or soft cheeses, this wine is sure to delight those who enjoy discovering new flavors.

Domaine Guillot-Gonin

Beaujolais | France

In the heart of the Beaujolais wine region, Corinne and Jean-Philippe Guillot-Gonin carry on a family tradition dating back to the 19th century across 35 hectares. Their complementary styles are the guiding principle of the estate: Corinne emphasizes softness and finesse, while Jean-Philippe focuses on structure and depth—together, they offer a vibrant and authentic interpretation of Beaujolais, from Chiroubles to Morgon Côte du Py.

The “Les Larmes de Suzanne” cuvée, created following the uprooting in 2011 of a very old vineyard planted by Corinne’s grandfather, exemplifies this commitment to passing on the tradition. It’s worth noting that the duo also runs a wine shop dedicated to Beaujolais wines in Clichy, bringing the essence of their terroirs to the outskirts of Paris.
