Syrah En Parallèle without added sulfites 2022
Vin de France | Red | 2022
This wine, made entirely from Syrah, boasts a unique style thanks to the natural winemaking methods that Arnaud Combier has favored since the beginning. On the nose, it offers an elegant discretion that captivates with its mysterious depth. On the palate, the texture is both ample and velvety, revealing remarkable concentration. The well-integrated tannins allow the aromas of black fruit and cocoa to fully express themselves, with a lingering finish marked by dark chocolate and pepper.

Our opinion on the vintage
Arnaud Combier's Syrah transports us to an exceptional sensory world. At first glance, its deep, almost opaque purple color announces a wine of character. The subtly dark nose gradually unfolds, rewarding with its elegance and depth. On the palate, it's pure velvet: the roundness and breadth of the texture offer a dense and seductive experience. The tannins, imposing by nature, manage to integrate with elegance, highlighting a bouquet of blackberry and cherry, enriched by delicate hints of cocoa. The finish, of increasing intensity, offers fresh and persistent fruit, enhanced by notes of dark chocolate and spicy pepper. A tasting that promises to evolve even further after a few years of aging.

Languedoc | France
Jeff Carrel's work in the Languedoc region focuses on vineyards that are sometimes neglected or challenging, revitalized through a pragmatic approach to winemaking. Carignan, Grenache, and Syrah are cultivated according to the specific plots, resulting in wines that are sometimes juicy, sometimes more structured.
The winemaking process remains intentionally simple, in order to preserve the rhythm and character of the wines. Some cuvées prioritize immediate enjoyment, while others emphasize a more assertive structure. The entire range is distinguished by a direct, accessible style, clearly expressing the Languedoc landscape.
