Our Review of the Cuvée

This wine exhibits a clear, pale yellow hue. On the nose, distinct floral and fruity notes are perceived. On the palate, it is straightforward, with a fine balance between richness and vivacity. It will pair perfectly with parsleyed ham, rillettes, or even Burgundy snails. To be enjoyed chilled as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to white meat.

Burgundy | France

Located in Saint-Bris-le-Vineux, at the heart of the Auxerrois vineyard, Domaine Grivot-Goisot is rooted in an ancient viticultural history, documented in this region since the 15th century. The estate, as it stands today, truly took shape after World War II, subsequently being passed down through generations of the Goisot family. In 2020, Anaëlle Goisot and René Grivot took over the family operation, ensuring its continued legacy.

The vineyard spans approximately 26 hectares, distributed across several iconic appellations in northern Burgundy: Saint-Bris, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru, Bourgogne Côte d’Auxerre, and Bourgogne Aligoté. Saint-Bris represents a regional anomaly, being the sole Burgundian appellation that permits Sauvignon cultivation, grown here on Kimmeridgian limestone soils, similar to those found in Chablis.
