Villa des Anges - Petit Verdot 2023

Vin de France | Rouge | 2023

This wine, made exclusively from the Petit Verdot grape variety, captivates with its intense color and unique aromatic profile. Sourced from vines at least 15 years old, grown on clay-siliceous soil in a Mediterranean climate, this wine fully expresses the character of its grape variety thanks to meticulous winemaking. Mechanical harvesting, followed by extraction through punching down and pumping over in concrete tanks, ensures beautiful intensity and a well-balanced structure, complemented by aging in concrete tanks.

Our Review of the Cuvée

On the nose, this wine reveals an enticing array of aromas, with notes of violet, raspberry, and cocoa. On the palate, it offers remarkable richness and structure, while retaining a welcome freshness. Its texture is silky, elegantly enveloping the palate, and its long finish prolongs the pleasure with hints of ripe fruit. A perfect pairing for hearty dishes such as curries, chili con carne, or tagines, it will masterfully enhance your meals.
