Piquepoul blanc 2024

Vin de France | Blanc | 2024

Made from Piquepoul grapes, this wine is grown using organic farming methods on clay-siliceous soil. Its vinification involves direct pressing, slow fermentation at low temperatures, and aging in stainless steel tanks on fine lees. This method allows for the development of complex aromas, in the style of great Champagnes, while ensuring continued evolution in the bottle thanks to the absence of filtration.

Our Review of the Cuvée

The first visual impression sets the tone: a very pale, brilliant golden color that immediately catches the eye. The nose is captivating, with aromas of lemon zest, fresh apple, almond, and floral notes such as acacia blossom. On the palate, it’s an explosion of freshness, combining a vibrant, invigorating texture with a luscious richness reminiscent of white fruits and a delicate hint of anise. The finish is a true delight, with flavors of ripe white fruits, toasted almonds, and candied fennel, enhanced by a subtle salty note.
