Pacherenc Du Vic-Bilh | Blanc | 2023

This wine showcases a unique blend of Petit and Gros Manseng, grown on southwestern-facing clay-loam slopes that ensure optimal sun exposure. Careful winemaking, including pneumatic pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation, preserves the wine’s aromatic purity. Aged on lees with stirring in stainless steel tanks, it develops a velvety texture and crystalline freshness, making it ideal for aperitifs or seafood dishes.

Our Review of the Cuvée

The first impression reveals a brilliant golden-yellow color, promising a luminous tasting experience. On the nose, despite an initial subtlety, passion fruit and mineral notes reminiscent of damp stone come to the fore. The attack on the palate is lively, marked by a precise and refreshing acidity. Exotic flavors, notably lemon and fresh pineapple, unfold with intensity and elegance. This wine, already enjoyable, will continue to evolve and refine itself in the coming years.

The vines are managed using sustainable viticulture practices, with particular attention paid to preserving natural balances and ensuring consistent ripeness. The soils, composed of clay and gravel, provide favorable conditions for diverse expressions, depending on the plots and their exposures.

The wines are crafted with a focus on controlled richness and lusciousness, without aiming for standardization. Vinification and aging processes are conducted to preserve the fruit expression and varietal typicity, offering profiles ranging ... Read more
