Our Review of the Cuvée

Imagine being enveloped by inviting aromas: the nose reveals hints of dried pineapple and mango, combined with notes of hay and fresh country bread. On the palate, this cuvée offers a rich sensory experience: round, full-bodied, and generous, it features a fleshy structure with a hint of chalkiness. The fruit’s freshness is enhanced by delicate spices. The finish is remarkably persistent, leaving a delicious impression of dried white and exotic fruits.

Domaine Dominique Faget is a small family-run winery located in Saint-Martin d’Armagnac in the Gers region, where Dominique grows grape varieties such as Petit Manseng, Gros Manseng, and Colombard.

The grapes are harvested by hand with the help of family and friends, and the wine is made using native yeasts, followed by approximately 9 months of aging on the lees in stainless steel tanks, with the aim of preserving the wine’s freshness and the natural expression of the fruit.

The estate embodies a personal and passionate approach to winemaking, where every step is carried out with care to produce wines that reflect the ambition and deep connection to this Gascon terroir.
