Our opinion on the vintage

The pale ruby color heralds a wine of freshness. The nose reveals crisp red fruits, cherry and raspberry, enhanced by a subtle vegetal and mineral note. On the palate, the attack is supple and precise; the texture remains light, supported by fine tannins and a lovely natural tension. The finish, clean and elegant, prolongs the fruit with perfect balance. A sincere and balanced Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, which prioritizes finesse over showiness.

Domaine Cauvard is a family-owned wine estate located in Beaune, Burgundy. It cultivates approximately eighteen hectares of vines spread across several communes in the Côte de Beaune, with appellations such as Beaune, Pommard, Volnay, Aloxe-Corton, Corton-Charlemagne and Hautes-Côtes de Beaune.

Production is based on a traditional approach, with attention paid to vineyard work and plot-by-plot vinification to preserve the identity of each terroir. Harvesting may be done by hand or mechanically depending on the cuvée.
