Vin de France | Orange | NM

Château Guilhem, a family estate since 1878, cultivates its 35 hectares of vines organically in Malviès, between Limoux and Carcassonne. The Atlantic grape varieties (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec) reflect the influence of the Malepère massif, ensuring a unique freshness in the wines. Natural winemaking and aging in stoneware amphorae have resulted in a wine with a beautiful natural orange color, born from a family history and an exceptional terroir.

Our opinion on the vintage

This orange-hued wine reveals surprising aromas from the very first sniff. Notes of fresh almonds, juicy mango, and candied mandarins are immediately apparent. On the palate, the texture is both rich and balanced, with a touch of spice that adds beautiful complexity. The wine's unique aging process imparts slightly oxidative characteristics, which harmonize perfectly with its fruity notes. Perfect for pairing with refined and exotic dishes, this wine will transport you on a unique sensory journey.

Soils play a central role in the balance of wines. The Malepère massif takes its name from a friable rock, unsuitable for construction but particularly well-suited to vines. These soils retain water ... Lire plus
