Vignobles David

Moonflower 2024

Pays d'Oc | Red | 2024

Located in the Gard region, the Saint Hilaire d'Ozilhan estate spans 28 hectares of limestone and pebble soils. The Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, and Grenache grape varieties produce wines with prestigious appellations such as Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône. Certified organic and kosher, our wines are enjoyed in Europe, Canada, and the United States. Kosher production has required a complete reorganization of the estate, fostering rich and engaging exchanges between communities. Fleur de Lune, inspired by the moon, guides each step of the winemaking process to create wines of exceptional quality.

Our opinion on the vintage

This wine displays an intense purple color with cherry highlights. On the nose, it is expressive and fresh, revealing aromas of blackcurrant bud and a remarkable intensity of Burlat cherry and red berries. On the palate, its fresh and silky texture offers notes of Burlat cherry and raspberry, as well as subtle hints of spice. Fine, precise tannins accompany a long, rounded finish, leaving a mineral and structured impression. Perfect to accompany Mediterranean dishes such as tapas or a lamb tagine.

Languedoc | France

Vignobles David is a family-run winery located in the Rhône Valley, established at the beginning of the 20th century and now managed by Frédéric David. The estate covers more than 50 hectares around Manduel and Saint-Hilaire d'Ozilhan, producing a wide range of wines in Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages, Pays d'Oc and even Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

The estate has been certified organic since 2009, with a strong commitment to environmentally friendly farming practices, reduced inputs, and winemaking that emphasizes the expression of fruit and terroir. Vinification is carried out using indigenous yeasts and limited sulfites, resulting in wines that are honest, balanced, and representative of their Mediterranean terroir.

The wines produced at Vignobles David combine the structure and depth of typical Rhône Valley grape varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Viognier or Roussanne, with a freshness and aromatic purity that make them suitable for both everyday tasting and
