Arnaux’s Poulsard En Bois comes from young vines on the eponymous plot, cultivated using organic and biodynamic methods. Hand-harvested and then destemmed, the grapes macerate for about two weeks in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging for approximately ten months in the same tanks. The wine is neither fined nor filtered, and bottling is done without added sulfites.

Our Review of the Cuvée

This Poulsard from the En Bois d'Arnaux vineyard captivates with its intense aromatic profile. On the palate, it unfolds a medley of tart red berries, carried by a refreshing lightness. It’s such an easy-drinking wine that you’ll hardly notice the level in the bottle dropping.

The vines had been organically farmed by his father Jean-Luc since 1999 and subsequently transitioned to more assertive biodynamic practices under Valentin's stewardship.

The estate covers approximately 6 to 7.5 hectares of vines planted on marl and limestone soils around Poligny, within the AOC Côtes du Jura. The viticulture emphasizes the life of the ... Read more
